Hi, I have a 10 month old female Goldendoodle. She grew up with my parents' poodle, but recently she and I moved to Wyoming. She isn't badly behaved, but she likes to annoy me to bits because she wants to play. I walk her daily and spend lots of time with her, but it just isn't enough. I was wondering if getting a second dog might help with this and give her a playmate, or if it will make things worse. She loves other dogs and is very submissive, and she gets bored by herself. And if I should get a second dog, what kind should I look into? Thanks!!

Another dog might be great. Our black labs had a great Golderdoodle friend where we used to live. Be ready to train the new one and maybe retrain the one you've got. When there are 2 dogs they tend to pay closer attention to each other than to their human. Good luck!

Ya, a young pup like that might want to have another dog to play with. If you can afford it and own your home I would go for it!
