Alright let me start by explaining the routine im getting my 8 week old siberian husky in. Every morning i will wake up at 5:30am and take Kara, the dog's name, out to go to the bathroom. If Kara goes i give her a treat and praise her, When we come in she gets food and water. Ill play with Kara for about 30min, then i will bring the dog to my girlfriends house. Once there She gets walked and the put into her cage around 6:45. My girlfriend, Jamie, and myself both work days. I work 7-3:30, She works 7-5. While at my girlfriends house, her mom lets Kara out only to go to the bathroom. Kara has been going to the bathroom between 11-12 and then again between 2:30-3:30. Once i get home and get a shower i go over to her house and immediately play with Kara for hours. We will run and play with toys and dig. Everytime she goes to the bathroom she gets a treat and tons of love. She gets feed at 5pm. Jamie and myself play with Kara outside for most of the night until the bugs get to bad. Around 8 we go inside and i stop giving her water. Kara gets tons of attention and play. At 9pm i bring Kara to my house. Once at my house i bring Kara outside to go to the bathroom. Bring her inside and play with her for a little longer. Around 9:45pm i bring her outside once last time before bed at 10pm. At night Kara only wines for a few minutes, if any, once i put her into her cage. Kara barks and wines every night around 1am to be taken outside, and maybe every often she will wake me up twice a night.
When playing with Kara in my room, which is small, she has had only a few accidents and i have stopped in the act in all of them, and then i bring her outside to finish.
Jamie and myself have had Kara for a week. Im wondering how long should i wait to let her try and sleep out of the cage at night? and about how long does house training take a puppy? Can you guys help me out and give me some tips of when im doing right and what i am doing wrong. Kara is mine and my girlfriends first puppy.

My husky is 5 months old now and is still in her crate at night. She still has accidents. She will wake me up at about 3 AM to go outside to pee. I have had her since she was 8 weeks old.

Patience is the most important word when it comes to huskies, they are very intelligent but very stubborn.
as for the cage, i am not a fan of crate training, although it can be very sucessful, every pup is different. Being only a week old she will still be missing her mum and playmates. Just give it time and keep doing what you are doing.
