My pup is now a year old, but when I got him he was only about 10 weeks. The breeder told me he was a maltipoo but I know that he is something else, or has a different breed mixed in too because his hair is kinda crazy and not really soft like a maltese. I love him to death and he's so affectionate and smart, but I've never really seen a dog that looks like him. Let me know what you guys think!!!

Poodles have that crazy fur that's more like hair than soft like fur. You never know what you're going to get with the mixes. I had an obedience class with 2 yorkiepoos from the same litter. One had corse, long, dark, curly fur and the other had super soft, short blonde fur. Did you get to see the parents? That's the best way to tell.

Nope... I didn't see the parents and he was the last one left of his brothers and sisters (that's why I got him!) so I didn't see what the rest of them looked like. I think it will always be a mystery! But I never know what to tell people when they ask what kind of dog he is... lol!
